Got the tuna melt with fries; it was very tasty. Beautiful view. The wait staff is equally beautiful. Even our male waiter looked like a model. Not saying waiters need to look good; just saying the view was good in every direction if you know what I mean. ;D

Views of the beach and peer make it an excellent location to enjoy the sunset, the atmosphere is happening, excellent service, delicious food and their tap beer compliments all of their menu in a very tasty way. The background music may be a little too loud for some.

The place is so peaceful and has a good view. I really enjoy to have brunch there on the weekends. So friendly staff and good food!

My new favorite restaurant! Delicious carnitas taco, best clam chowder, great fish n chips, but most of all you are above so you get a great ocean view. Very nice wait staff!

We've been here 3 times and have loved it every time! The view is amazing and the staff is great. I've ordered the arugula manchego salad with salmon and the acai bowl. Both were delicious. Very chill vibe with polite and responsive staff.

Bartenders were busy but for a sat afternoon, shouldn't they anticipate this? Took over 10 minutes to get a drink and that was only after I flagged them down. Generally understand if bar staff is busy but when they don't acknowledge you, it's frustrating. And they forgot to put in part of our food order. They took care of us but expert more.

Our hotel bartender suggested Wonderland, so we worried it was just another tourist trap. We shouldn't have second-guessed him...it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the sunset while having the best fettuccine I've had in a long time. (it was infused with crab and other non-traditional ingredients). Ask for a seat at the ocean front window and watch a spectacular sunset. The food is really good and it is a fun atmosphere.

Bar food at this spot - very good. Great spot for an appetite of any size. The service was helpful and kind. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.

Decent happy hour and view. Had a couple of their mules and left feeling happy.

Amazing bar off of ground level in Ocean Beach, came here after a recommendation to try the seafood tacos, was not disappointed. The view is spectacular for sunset, but the quality of food, drinks, service and atmosphere make it a must visit, I’ll be back

Amazing place to eat and drink! My wife and I came here with a good friend and the service was outstanding! Everything tasted great and all the drinks were made strong. I will come back here every time I visit San Diego.

Well obviously, this place has an awesome view of the beach. Service was pretty good and surprisingly we didn't have to wait too long for brunch on a Sunday. If you can get a spot at the widows at the bar, I would recommend it. Food and service were good, as was the alcoholic coffee beverage I got.

Manager took care of us well. Food is good and unique. Good sea food. Seating is interesting. I think it places into the wait some days but overall great place in OB.

The great thing about Wonderland is the view. Every time I visit San Diego, I end up at this restaurant. It overlooks the beach and the pier. Waves for days. Surfers. Lifeguards. Prime people-watching. Okay, we got that out of the way. The food is decent, pretty unique, and beautifully prepared. However, the last time we went to Wonderland, the restaurant was not busy at all. It was a Monday at lunchtime. We walked in and waited. And waited some more. Several waiters walked past us and both of the bartenders saw us. No one acknowledged us. Not even a "someone will be with you shortly." We waited for almost 20 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Our service was so slow. We needed water refills, but could not find our waitress. The food is pricey and not as good as it should be for how much it costs. But like I said, the view is pretty hard to beat. I'll probably end up there again next time I go to San Diego haha.

It was self seating and we sat by the edge to get a nice view of the ocean. The staff is friendly, the food was good too. Came in here for Sunday morning breakfast and was not disappointed. Good food, nice view, friendly service. Good times!

Visiting from Denver and found this place to be my regular spot for the few days I was here. The staff was amazingly friendly, food was delicious, ambiance wonderful, view spectacular! Thanks for the fun!!!

Looking for a killer view of the beach or the sunset? Wonderland is quite possibly one of my favorite places to sit and take the view in from Ocean Beach! Even better, all the windows open up so you can not only get the view from the second story, but also get that nice ocean breeze. Food is pretty decent (I've enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here) and the drink selection is usually pretty solid. Highly recommend checking it out if you're spending the day in OB!

Good overview ocean beach if sit in front window seats. You can get your seats by yourself. Service was good, food was average! It was really pricey!

My fav place for bar food. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. The service was very welcoming and sociable. Prices are appropriate for the quality.

Although I've never actually eaten here (it's hard to have a pup in here and I don't go where my dog isn't welcomed,) I still have a story I have to share- as an Obecean I pass by regularly, and a few weeks ago I noticed that they had a huge flag pole with a tiny American flag on it that was tattered to shreds. I was incensed by it, and decided to write a short note to the manager which I presume was forwarded by staff. I figured I could just feel good about saying something but didn't expect them to actually listen. To my SHOCK, not only did they remove that disrespectfully tattered and undersized flag the next day, but today I see they have replaced it with a beautiful, appropriately sized banner. It literally made me cry. It may sound cheesy to many, but those who have fought for those colors (and of course there are many in SD,) appreciate it VERY much. Thanks a lot guys, for real.

Great location for enjoying sweeping views of Ocean Beach. This is one of my favorite spots to come watch the sunset while devouring some good food and drinks. There's counter top seating all around the windows, which are cracked open to let in that cool ocean breeze and salty air. There's also seating at the bar in the middle. Food: The cauliflower taco is delicious! The mango salsa added a fresh, bright note, and balanced the the heaviness of the fried cauliflower nicely. All the components of the loco moco (fried rice, patty, and gravy) were also very well put together and flavorful.I definitely recommend checking out this spot if you're out in OB! (Located above OB Surf Lodge)

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere.

Food as always was outstanding. Our server for whatever reason just didn't seem to be in a good place on this particular day. My girlfriend and I felt a little shunned. And it wasn't just us. We're far from being look at me and I need attention, but things were off and I'll leave it at that.

Great local bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bartenders are great and the drinks are well made. The GT also has a nightly happy hour. Food is just OK. Burgers are the best item on the menu.

Good beer selection, tasty nachos, and sunset views (+ toast and shot)

This place is modern with a hipster vibe going on. If you like the social night life this is the place for you. The service was great. The food was great. I recommend the rainbow spring rolls.

Awesome bar for singles yo sit mingle and enjoy Sunset Every day the bar pours a Sunset shot for the whole bar and everyone enjoys a shot! Awesome entertainment and really cool staff! Great pla6to watch football and baseball with multiple TVs! Highly recommend and wish I could give 10 stars review!

Very cool nautical bar, great views of the ocean at sunset, and they also do a sunset toast. Staff very nice. Only downside is seating can be tough, may have to stand. Overall cool spot!

The view is wonderful and the food is pretty damn good too. lots of creative seafood options with some nice vegetarian alternatives as well like buffalo cauliflower. The service during our visit was highly attentive and very knowledgeable.For the views in the food the prices are spot on not going to break the bank but definitely not a budget meal. There is a handicap entrance around back simply go up and let them know that you need to get someone up the stairs.

Sunday brunch never looked or tasted better! Salty breeze/air, amazing ocean views a delicious cocktail and yummy food...need I say more?! My black bean patty was very flavorful, as where the potatoes that came with my order. Portions were a good size too. The atmosphere is loud but not annoying, we heard jazz for the most part and the vibe was great! Love this place and plan on coming back!

Perhaps the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. Certainly in the last few years. And my waiter was excellent. As was the bartender. I tried the citrus flavored gin drink with orange juice off the menu and it was outstanding. I don't recall the name of it as I'm writing this 3 weeks later but it's the only one like it so easy to recognize. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and the crew in the kitchen really know what they're doing as well. The place is solidly staffed all the way around. I don't think they put up with amateurs there much at all, which is refreshing. Surprisingly the prices are more than reasonable. I would have expected to pay significantly more after having finished my dining and drinking experience there. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in San Diego.

Excellent sunset views. Place can be a little loud but the scenery makes it worthwhile. Fish & Chips were excellent. Nice size pieces of fish and not too greasy. Pretzel balls with beer cheese very good as well. Decent selection of beers. If you are looking for a place to eat or drink at sunset, this is the place.

The views of the OB pier and Pacific Ocean can't be beat and I have never been disappointed by the food. They do happy hour and one of my favorite nights is Mussel Mondays where they do half off mussels and also oysters i believe. All of the preparations are tasty and come with a good amount of broth which is great for dipping the garlic bread wedges they give you. I believe more bread costs you a dollar should you want more to dip with.

Really cool atmosphere and great food! The Killer Nachos were truly killer. Easily 5 stars.

Had a great experience and our server, Jeff was amazing. Their chili was super delicious. This spot is a must experience.
